Stellenbeschreibung
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance of our Oracle-based applications, ensuring optimal performance and functionality while implementing enhancements to meet evolving business needs
- Design and develop new backend interfaces for data provision using Kafka, facilitating efficient data transmission and integration within our systems
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of ongoing developments, technical processes, and identified gaps, ensuring clarity and communication across the team
- Proactively identify areas of technical debt within the codebase, proposing and implementing strategies for resolution to improve system quality and maintainability
- Develop a deep understanding of the business logic surrounding the data utilized in our applications, continuously expanding your knowledge to better align technical solutions with business objectives
- Engage in close cooperation with the entire product development team, fostering effective communication and collaboration to ensure successful project outcomes and deliver high-quality software solutions
Qualifikationen
- Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, and Java, enabling effective development and maintenance of robust software applications
- In-depth experience with relational databases, ensuring data integrity and optimized performance in software solutions
- Proven ability to design data models and functional models, contributing to the creation of scalable and maintainable systems
- Demonstrated experience in software distribution processes and executing deployments, ensuring seamless integration and delivery of software products
- Familiarity with microservices architecture, container virtualization technologies (Docker), and orchestration tools (Kubernetes) for building flexible and scalable applications
- Proficient in CI/CD practices using GitLab and experience with data streaming technologies such as Kafka to enhance deployment efficiency
- Ideally, experience with Angular and Oracle Forms to support full-stack development and integration efforts within the team
- You have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and find solutions independently, which you implement together with the team
- You take a thoughtful approach to your work and have an independent and structured way of working.
- You have a good command of English and ideally German
